Purbeck Folk Festival is a collaboration between four people who collaborate at Centre Stage, Bournemouth. Phil Watkins and Mick Callaghan own and manage that venue. Paul Burke and Catherine Burke run Bournemouth Folk Club which is based in Centre Stage. The festival was started in 2009.
